It is officially 3:30am. I am exhausted yet, I am wide awake. I have to be awake in a little while to head to an OB appt. and it’s royally going to kick my butt. I layed in bed for two and a half hours before I decided it was doing me no good and decided to grab the laptop. While I could think of things to clean, the last thing I need to do is wake anyone else up in this house.
I sat here trying to google third trimester insomnia and pretty much the answer I got was
- It sucks
- Take a bath
- Be happy your body is training for the “sleepless nights ahead”
Ha. I’m sorry but considering I’m going to have two newborns waking up throughout the night, don’t train me now, let me sleep.
I did sit in the bathtub for about five minutes. I’ve checked Facebook, I’ve checked Twitter. I even had the sound machine app going on my phone. Nope, nadda. I’m just not meant to sleep tonight.
People have asked me to show my face in belly shots, ha. That’s funny. Between the not being able to wear my contacts being pregnant with twins, the hair with a mind of it’s own, and the swollen face, I just don’t want to scare anyone. So, you can blame the sleep deprivation for the viewing of the face of no sleep.

My main concern now that I’m thinking about it the fact that obviously, no sleep can trigger a headache. I’m downing the water as we speak in hopes that I might get a head start on trying to fight it. At that point, who knows.
I wonder what hubby will say when he sees a blog post written at this hour or my Facebook updates. Hi Honey, your little boys don’t like me right now.
