Last night was a heartbreaking moment for myself as we watched the procession of Chicago’s fallen police officer, Samuel Jimenez. With my previous education, my family stands with law enforcement.

Before my health circumstances, I was a Criminology major. My children look up to law enforcement and have shown concern and love for the officers they know are are protecting our communities. With the loss of Chicago Police Officer Samuel Jimenez, they have asked to bring cookies and hugs to our local police. With Thanksgiving here, I have this ready for them to show their appreciation and support. Thoughts and Prayers for this hero's family. 4 Children are without their Daddy.
