When it comes to cooking, I have become a big fan of easy and quick recipes I can throw in the Crock potand have a meal ready when it’s time to eat. When I saw a recipe for Bacon Ranch Chicken, I knew it would be a perfect family dinner to try.
Bacon Ranch Chicken
Ingredients
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp real bacon bits
- 1tsp minced garlic (I replaced this with garlic salt as we did not have minced garlic)
- 1pkg ranch dressing mix
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- egg noodles
- Combine bacon, garlic, ranch dressing mix, soup, and sour cream. Mix together thoroughly.
Pour mixture over chicken in crock pot.
Cook on high for 3-4 hours, we cooked on low for approximately 5-6 hours.
Begin preparing egg noodles according to package directions. After shredding chicken in crock pot, add egg noodles and mix ingredients together.
Ultimately, this recipe was very creamy and delicious! We all added some bacon afterwards to give it that extra kick but I could easily see playing with and adapting the recipe to make it perfect for you and your family.
Do you have a favorite crock pot recipe?

That sounds really good.
Hubby has asked me to look for some chicken and egg noodle recipes because those are the things he LOVES. I am definitely going to try this as I really like those things too, but I LOVE almost anything if you add bacon to it. MMMMMM
Thanks for sharing. =)
I just got a crock pot and this sounds like a dish my son and husband would love. Yum!
This sounds delicious! I’m bookmarking! I will likely add some chopped veggies and a pinch of crushed red pepper as well–don;t you just love how adaptable most crock pot recipes are!
This sounds really good! I love easy crock pot dinners.
I have made this twice. My husband and I LOVE it!! I made a two changes to suit us. I don’t add bacon bits and I use boneless chicken thighs (white meat isn’t the same reheated the next day). This is a FANTASTIC recipe and I’m so happy to have stumbled upon it! We had it tonight for dinner. I’m so excited for left overs tomorrow!!
