I have to say I’m sorry if I’ve been a little absent in my writing this past week. We have had storms and rain all week and Monday, I began getting one of my “World Famous” headaches. I’ve been drinking more water, taking it easy. I’ve taken both Maxalt and my Zofran for it to quickly wear off.
Last night, I decided to go into Urgent Care. I often times get an injection called Torodal. For the most part, it works. It takes the “SHARPNESS” out of any pain and you can relax. We decided that since I get it alot, we could try a steroidal anti-inflammatory, Decadron. So we did Decadron and Phenegren and sent me on my way. Well, the headache never went away.
This morning I woke up, still feeling pain. Into the doctor I went. My Blood pressure was 153/94 and Pulse 120. I knew I felt kind of jittery and my hands and legs were shaking a bit. Nurse said with my blood pressure that high, she could definitely understand me having a migraine still. Dr. comes in and says it is a side effect of the steroid. So I’m given a Torodal injection and pain prescription.
As I sat here at home, I felt woozy so decided to lay down. I took my pulse again and still at 97. Sooo, I’m sitting and waiting to decide if I need to go back in.
I apologize for my absenteeism but I promise to get some more fun stuff up and running for you!
