A Little Bit More About The Crazy Tattooed Momma

So if you Facebook, it is very likely you have been tagged in that note to tell everyone 25 things about you. I decided hey, why not add this as a blog post. While I can’t think of 25 Things without a prompting, you get what you get! LOL

1. To be honest, I never expected myself to be a Mom EVER. I was one of those individuals that just figured, Hey I’m not cut out for this Mommy thing. Little did I know becoming a parent has made my life incredible and given me a meaning I never knew possible. I love being a Mom and hope I have the chance to have more children someday.

2. I was very close to my Grandpa. An interesting tidbit-my Grandfather only met his father once. I’ve only met my father once.

3. How did I get started blogging? Honestly, a birth club forum I met while pregnant with Kelsie started having individuals create their own blog. I never knew what blogging was capable of a little over a year ago. I’m so glad I made that “lil blog” because I’ve met some really great people in the process.

4. I am named Jenna after Priscilla Presley’s character on Dallas. The funny thing? When I’ve asked my mom “Did I shoot J.R.?” She told me “I don’t know I never actually watched it.” Nice Mom, you probably named me after some soap opera floozy. Nice.

5. I really don’t wear jewelry. I have my wedding band, my Kelsie birthstone ring, my monroe stud and my lip stud. Maybe you can count my microdermal. I have maybe two or three necklaces. I honestly think I haven’t found a necklace that is “me” otherwise I’d wear more all the time.

6. I have had cosmetic surgery to help correct a birth defect. It was not a fun experience but it definitely made me much more confident when it was done and over with.

7. I graduated from Ames High in 2005. My Senior Year at Ames was my only year. I went from would have graduated with 54 students to graduating with 389 classmates.

8.Many would consider me “covered” in tattoos. Nonsense. There’s still plenty of skin with nothing on it 😉

9. I have been suffering from horrid headaches since about a month or two before I was pregnant with Aubrey. Wednesday, I have an appointment with neurology. I’m nervous as I don’t know what to expect.

10. I am studying at Iowa State in Criminology.
