I have a soft spot for Mater!!
My kids get a new ornament each year. When they are old enough, and move out on their own, they will take them and have plenty to decorate their first Christmas tree…with memories.

I love Mater! We have been only buying one handmade ornament a year now instead of whatever strikes our fancy like in years past…I got a handmade felt mitten at a craft fair this year for $1. LOL
