Being a Mom of two young ones and constantly on the go with school, appointments, and so on, finding good meals can be somewhat of a challenge. Unlike most college students, I can’t exactly have the frozen food/ramen noodle diet with the girls in the house. I want them to eat a variety of good foods and make sure they are learning healthy eating habits.
Now I am a fan of all types of foods so when I had the chance to check out La Choy Creations Sweet and Sour Chicken, I was pretty excited. My two favorite Chinese dishes are Orange Chicken and Sweet and Sour Chicken. Being able to cook some of these dishes at home versus going and getting take out are obviously, alot easier on the pocket.
In less than 25 minutes, you can have dinner ready to go for your family. The only thing I needed to have besides this kit was a pound of boneless chicken breasts. The sauce and rice are included and make approximately six servings.
Overall, I did enjoy the La Choy Sweet and Sour. Personally, I do like a bit more spice in my Chinese foods so I did play a bit with adding sweet and sour out of our fridge to my plate. Aubrey is picking up Mommy’s taste in food and definitely loved stealing some rice as well!

I’ve been buying La Choy products for years. They have a handle on the market like no other company in the food niche does, I think. It also makes for a much less expensive (and healthier dinner) than takeout.
