Over the weekend, we hosted a house party and while looking for some dragon-themed food ideas, I found this quick and extremely easy recipe for tortilla chips (or in our case, Dragon Dippers) that was a HUGE hit with both the kids and adults.
Dragon Dippers Tortilla Chips
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
- 10 (7 inch) flour tortillas
- 3/4 teaspoon garlic salt
- 3/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 3/4 teaspoon chili powder
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Combine garlic salt, ground cumin, and chili powder together.
Brush butter on one side of a tortilla. Sprinkle seasonings on tortilla.
Cut each tortilla into eight pieces. On an ungreased baking sheet, cook tortillas for 6-8 minutes or until crisp. I kept an eye on these closely as some of the batches came out crisp in about four minutes.
This is a great recipe that can easily be modified with seasonings to make it just right for a particular dip or just an extra snack!

So easy! And I bet they taste so much better than the store bought kind.
That’s simple & fun. I bet you could even make cinnamon/sugar ones.
