Sometimes I feel like I never have the chance to sit down. I can be the first to admit that sometimes when I get busy, I slack on taking the time to sit down and eat some real food, a must in this pregnancy.
More and more, I’ve began looking at frozen food options for not only myself but, my Grandma as well. Knowing that she doesn’t want to cook a full meal with only herself to eat, I still want to know that she is getting the protein and calories she needs to stay healthy.
When Healthy Choice first introduced Café Steamers, I was excited to give them a try and I was glad I did. With Healthy Choice now offering over sixty varieties, I couldn’t pass up the chance to try Healthy Choice Top Chef Inspired Cafe Steamers. I can admit, I am a picky eater so when it comes to finding a quick but yet healthy meal, sometimes I feel like my options are limited. Healthy Choice teamed up with Top Chef from Bravo to create eight exclusive Cafe Steamers to choose from.
I am always a big fan of chicken and pasta so I was intrigued to try the Chicken Margherita with Balsamic.
This deliciously inspired dish pairs chicken tenderloins with angel hair pasta, roasted garlic and tomatoes and tops it off with a balsamic vinaigrette sauce. And all for only 320 calories.
Now, tomatoes are one of my “picky” points but I can handle certain amounts so while I did take some of the tomatoes out, this was definitely a meal I enjoyed. Normally I expect a balsamic vinaigrette to be very strong but this wasn’t overwhelming, it was just right for the chicken and pasta.
Looking at nutritional value and knowing not only am I getting protein I need but also 10% of the Daily Recommended Value for Iron, this is definitely a fast meal that I can handle and enjoy.

I’ve been devouring these things like crazy lately but I haven’t tried that one yet, I was worried about the vinegar because I HATE vinegar but if it’s not too strong I’ll give it a shot.
Yeah normally when I think Balsamic, I think about that instant “Hit” to your mouth but I didn’t get that at all with this.
