Living in a blended family with six children, it’s no surprise that we often find ourselves telling our kids about respecting each other. Not only do we want them to be kind to each other but, we want them to show kindness in their schools, the community, and anyone they interact with.
As our state recently dealt with great tragedy losing law enforcement officers, my children were quick to show empathy by bringing tokens of appreciation and the simple act of giving a hug.
Hasbro has recently launched a new initiative, Be Fearless Be Kind. By inspiring and empowering our children to have compassion, empathy, and courage, children learn to value those around them, something I am proud to have our kids actively thinking about kindness.
By visiting the Be Fearless Be Kind website, you can find resources on ways to show empathy and take action, leading us all to grow a kinder generation. When we are mindful of how our actions impact others, we are much more likely to be active citizens.
On Monday, November 14th, join Hasbro on Twitter at 2PM ET for their Be Fearless Be Kind Twitter Party. Prizes will include 8 $50 Hasbro Prize Packs. You can learn more and RSVP by visiting Vite.
