As the girls get older, I want to get them to participate in activities around the house to help them understand and enjoy Christmas on a new level. Today, we came up with a quick and easy way to help them show what they are thankful for.
We’ve all made paper chains in school so to add a twist, on each strip of paper, I asked the girls something they are thankful for. Some were sentimental, some were material but that’s okay. As the month goes on, we’ll continue to add to the chain and grow our garland around the house!
The girls are excited to see what else we can create!
(You can just never get both to look at the same time! LOL)

We love making paper chains as well! A few years ago, the girls made ones like this in scouts and it was a hit! Great photo of the girls!
Piper totally loves making paper chains, simply as decor. Sometimes we have used them for a countdown to vacation or some such thing and it is always a big hit!
