Celebrating the Holidays with Ice Age:Continental Drift

Here in Iowa, the weather can be goofy but it’s definitely getting colder which means the Holiday Season is here!

In a few weeks, we will be hosting a house party to get in the Holiday Spirit as well as to enjoy the latest Ice Age movie, Ice Age:Continental Drift. The girls have loved every Ice Age and we are excited to entertain family and friends. We will be screening the movie, celebrating with some fun activities and snacks. I’ve been looking to Pinterest for some food ideas for all the kids to enjoy. While we don’t have any snow on the ground yet (it could come at any minute), we might have some colored ice “rocks” to greet our guests walking up the sidewalk.

Sub-zero heroes Manny, Diego, and Sid embark upon a high-seas adventure after their continent is set adrift.  Using an iceberg as a ship, they encounter sea creatures and battle pirates as they try to reunite with their herd.  In the wake of these upheavals, Sid reunites with his cantankerous Granny, and the herd encounters a ragtag menagerie of seafaring pirates determined to stop them from returning home.

Ice Age:Continental Drift is available December 11th!
