Back to School is officially here and as we all prepare to send our children off to school, we have to get ready and organized to make sure they have everything they need not only when it comes to school supplies; our children need the tools to succeed.
The Boys & Girls Club of America has teamed up with Disney to launch the Tools for Back to School Initiative. This unique site offers parents the chance to download tips for time management, goal setting, and much more! There are a variety of ways you can also help support the Boys and Girls Club and youth within your own community.
As I send my oldest off to school for the first time, my job as parent takes on a whole new role. I plan to be active in my children’s school in any way that I can. It is a community effort to make sure each child thrives and succeeds. By checking out the Initiative, it also helps give me ideas on ways I can help contribute to the school.
Boys and Girls Club has also partnered with jcpenney. For the entire month of August, you can join jcpcares and “round up” your purchase at the register to help benefit Boys and Girls Club.
