I was provided with a gift card on behalf of Balance Bars to purchase my favorite bars. All opinions are 100% my own and based on my experience with the product.
This Summer, I’ve been paying attention to trying to get in better shape and make healthier options. When it comes to having fibro, moving around can be tough but it’s not impossible. And with the help of Balance Bars, I have a quick snack that is filled with nutrients and tastes AMAZING.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been enjoying Cookie Dough Balance Bar and Peanut Butter Balance Bars. And I think most of us know that guys are less likely to eat nutrition bars but even my boyfriend enjoyed the cookie dough Balance Bar a few times before he had to head in for a 12 hour shift working.
My energy always seems to be running on low. But as the Balance Bar says right on the wrapper “Nutrition Bar for Lasting Energy”, I have noticed an increase in my energy and ability to get things done.
The Peanut Butter Balance Bar contains 15g Protein, 23 Vitamins and Minerals, a Low Glycemic Index (28), and an excellent source of antioxidants, Vitamin A, C, and E.
No matter what steps you take to shape up and focus on your own health and wellness, every step counts. Can you walk where you’re going instead of jumping in the car? Are you grabbing the water to drink instead of a pop? Yes, I still drink my pop but I’ve put it in moderation and it feels great. In the past month, I’ve already lost about ten pounds from paying attention to what I’m doing.

I have wanted to try these bars for a long time. Can’t wait to learn more at the twitter party! I’m keeping active by spending more time outdoors with my family. Being active has never been so fun!
I stay active by swimming in the pool and walking daily
My husband and I are putting in new gravel rock paths for our garden & walk paths- it’s hard work, considering there’s nearly 18,000 pounds of rock. He’s 73 and I’m 52 years old.
I stay active by daily swimming.
Keeping active by keeping the kids busy with outdoor fun and adventures, plus doing my Changetime Workourts!
My shape-up tip for any time of year is to find something to keep you occupied so you don’t find yourself eating out of boredom. I did two things this year to this end – first, I studied for and passed a certification exam I had wanted to take for years and second, I became a Rodan + Fields Independent Consultant. Both things have gone a long way to keeping my mind busy so that it isn’t directing me towards food all of the time. 🙂
I am getting trying to walk 10000 steps a day! tired already 🙂 thanks
We are trying to eat healthier and take more walks! My dog loves it! Started our first ever mini garden this year…having so much fun growing our own!
I try to eat healthy and drink green smoothies
I attend roller derby practice twice a week doing drills and workouts. Thanks.
