When I first found out I was having twins, I was in complete and utter shock. It just didn’t seem real. How was I going to manage?
January 4th, 2012, Lucas Michael and Nathaniel Gary entered the world shortly after 4pm. Little did I know that these two little boys would teach me much more than I already knew about being a parent.

It is so hard for me to believe that you two joined our family a year ago today. I remember our “journey” to meet you and while things might have been rocky and we have our challenges we continue to face over this past year, you have made me realize even more how much I am blessed.
Sure there might be ups and downs but, when I sit back and watch you both as you explore our world or chase after your big sisters, I know that I have healthy and happy children.
You both have melted my heart. Thank you for picking me as your Mommy. Your ornery smirks, the bashful head tilt when someone says your names, you’ve taught our entire family even more of what unconditional love means.
