I remember the first time I heard about Polly Pocket when I was little. These teeny tiny dolls were just that-TINY. While I loved having the chance to play Polly Pockets with my friends, you could only do so much with a toy meant to fit into your pocket.
Now that I am a Mom, Polly Pocket has had a “Make-over”, making it easier for children to explore the world of Polly Pocket and let their imaginations soar.
Kelsie and Aubrey recently had the chance to check out the Polly Pocket Hangout House and Stick N Play Room. The Polly Pocket Hangout House is an expandable house in which additional sets can be added. As we opened the toys, I loved seeing that each movable toy had suction bottoms. When you are a parent and have constant small pieces to toys, it’s amazing how quick you can appreciate something as simple as suction on small pieces to keep everything together. The detail and vibrant colors make this perfect for any little girl.
Kelsie and Aubrey LOVED playing with Polly Pocket and as a Mom, I loved watching their creativity as their Polly Pockets explored, cooked, and even jumped in the pool with puppy and kitty. While the twins aren’t very mobile yet, I also enjoy knowing that the pieces are MUCH larger than the Polly Pockets from when I was a child. The pieces were minuscule, easily lost, and could definitely be swallowed if in the wrong little hands. While there are still pieces that are small enough to be lost or could be swallowed, they are easier to manage and keep track of.
Polly Pocket has become a new favorite toy for my girls and I know in the future, we can purchase additional play sets that the girls will enjoy.
