I Love You Grandpa

This might be a longer video for you but if you have never heard this song-you need to. This was one of the songs played in honor of my Grandfather at his funeral and the song speaks for itself. My love of music was inspired alot by my grandfather. My Grandpa was my inspiration and “Rock” in everything I did. This grieving process is a hard one but I know I’ll get through it. My Grandpa would want me smiling and I know it.
I know your life
On earth was troubled
And only you could know the pain
You weren’t afraid to face the devil
You were no stranger to the rain

Go rest high on that mountain
Son, your work on earth is done
Go to heaven a shoutin’
Love for the Father and Son

Oh, how we cried the day you left us
We gathered round your grave to grieve
I wish I could see the angels faces
When they hear your sweet voice sing

Go rest high on that mountain
Son, your work on earth is done
Go to heaven a shoutin’
Love for the Father and Son

  2. Hi there dear, yes, it’s me, your mom! Your new page is looking great and of course I first noticed the song dedication to Grandpa. Matthew has been saying a prayer every night asking God to help Grandma get better soon and to please take care of Grandpa. It touches me every time. 🙂 Well, gonna watch that video and check out rest the site now. Talk to you tomorrow most likely. Love ya, Mom
