In recent months, Hy-Vee introduced the Fuel Saver program for shoppers. By shopping at Hy-Vee and purchasing your every day products, customers can save money per gallon (It’s possible to save over $2.00 per gallon!) when filling up at Hy-Vee, Casey’s, or Shell gas stations across the Midwest.
This past week when shopping, I signed up for the Hy-Vee Fuel Saver program. Sometimes I feel like I am constantly driving when it comes to the kids. While shopping, I kept noticing the Fuel Saver signs. For particular products, you earn a certain amount of cents off per gallon by purchasing.
I did my normal shopping and various products that I grabbed were included in earning points towards the Fuel Saver program. Gas in our area is currently sitting at $3.05. After swiping my Fuel Saver card at the pump, I was pretty pumped to see the price change to this.
$2.89 for gas? Heck yeah! This was the discount I received without actively looking for Fuel Saver Eligible Products. Items change out on a weekly basis and can be seen inside the weekly ads as well as signage on shelves.
To learn more about the Hy-Vee Fuel Saver program, check out Hy-Vee’s website to sign up or check with customer service at your local Hy-Vee store.

Gas is so expensive. I have the local store here that has a gas savings program when you buy groceries but I usually end up paying full price.
