Halloween Pumpkin Spice Rice Krispies Treats

Halloween Pumpkin Spice Rice Krispies Treats 1

With temperatures dropping and fall approaching, it’s time to bring on the pumpkin! My favorite season is Fall do to beautiful leaves changing colors, temperatures warm enough for boots and hoodies but not too cold that you have to wear a big bulky coat! These are a delicious treat you can pack in your everyday lunch, you can have them sitting outside beside a warm, toasty bonfire, or you can even have them as an alternative dessert from your family Thanksgiving gathering!

If you’re anything like me, you LOVE anything with pumpkin it! Pumpkin Spice lattes, pumpkin pie, and so much more! Adding pumpkin to the old school recipe for Rice Krispie treats, puts a spin on a delicious recipe! These are a super easy, quick treat you can make and the kiddos can help with this one! With their delicious flavor, and impeccable design, and ooey gooey texture, you and your family will be sure to gobble them up! Pun intended, lol! So all corny jokes aside, let’s get started!

Instructions:
-First, you will want to melt your butter completely, this usually takes about 30-45 seconds in the microwave. Be sure to use a large bowl, you’ll see why later!

-Next, add your marshmallows, using a rubber spatula, stir to coat marshmallows in butter.image3

-Sprinkle your pumpkin pie spice on top and stir again to coat all marshmallowsimage4

-Next is melting the marshmallows, this is why you’ll need a big bowl, that way you don’t have an overflow. Melting the marshmallows usually takes about 1- 1 1/2 minutes.
