Father’s Day weekend is here. It’s a special time to celebrate the Fathers in our life and show them how much they mean to us. Fatherhood.gov wants to celebrate those small moments because they truly make the biggest impact in a child’s life.
The WWE has teamed up once again to celebrate Dads and how important it is for fathers to play a part in their children’s life. Several WWE Superstars are fathers themselves and for those that follow the WWE Universe, they make moments that matter. At the last WrestleMania, while I was excited for Roman Reigns to win; I grinned from ear to ear seeing him carry his daughter, Joelle, after the match. It was a beautiful moment to watch for those who caught a glimpse once the cameras went off.
As a child, I was blessed to have my grandfather as the father figure in my life. I grew up learning about cars, work ethic, family, and so much more. It’s a running joke among several members of my close family that my personality often can match that of my Grandpa. He was a strong man that also knew how to create a laugh. The day I graduated high school, it was a beautiful feeling having my Grandpa there, grinning from ear to ear.
I also have found myself blessed by my children having a father figure in their life that treats him like they are his own, helps to cheer them on with me, and teach them things that sometimes we moms just don’t know how to do 😉
