So a few days ago, a concrete truck threw a rock up and cracked the top part of my windshield in my car. We didn’t have the money to fix it right away and we’re planning to this week.
So this morning, driving on the Interstate, I could HEAR the glass cracking more. Next thing I know WAM another line in the crack. Freaking fantastic. Mind you these cracks are at the TOP of the window. Hence, the pressure of driving on the interstate would just push that crack even further…AKA cause it to implode.
Tomorrow, we HAVE to be in Northern Iowa about 4 hours away. Well I called my mom because we won’t be able to have the windshield fixed until probably Wednesday with other obligations…I asked her if I could borrow her car to drive up. “NO.” Um, Mom I pay insurance to be a driver on your car…why am I paying it if I’ve never driven your car.
So while my mom wants us to turn into string bean glass confetti, I need to find a different vehicle to drive. Urgh.

ANOTHER instance in which I wish I lived closer! I hope you find something, hon!! xoxo
I sure hope you can find another vehicle to take! Just reading it I was cringing at the thought of shattering while your driving it.
Thank goodness I convinced my mom to let me “rent” her car!
