Clothes are something can make or break a first impression. When it comes to formal wear, you want to not only look amazing, but feel amazing as well.
In October, we had a trip to Florida for my father-in-law’s wedding. As a member of the family, I wanted to be dressed classy and able to move while dancing and celebrating their special day. When you’re going from Iowa to Florida, you have to take into consideration the weather differences so you don’t find yourself a mess before the night is over.
I spent hours shopping and trying on dresses. I just couldn’t find the dress that popped for me as “the one”. I ultimately decided on the go-to choice, a black dress. While it wasn’t a full-on formal dress, it was perfect for holding the twins and feeling comfortable.
It’s amazing that the black dress is able to be worn no matter what the occasion. From a dinner party to a night out on the town, you can easily accessorize to give it that extra hint of style. When you find yourself arguing on what to wear, you know the little black dress can make it work for you.
When it comes to shopping for a special dress, remember your surroundings, how long you will be out, your comfort level, and how formal you need to be in order to look stunning.

I’m just beginning to shop for special occasion dresses with my daughter. She is so particular but a ton of fun to shop with.
I am awful at dress shopping! Our friend’s 40th birthday is a “Hollywood” style party at t a local Hotel so I need to go buy a fancy dress soon and I am dreading it! Will check this site out.
