Non-Surgical Cosmetic Procedures

When it comes to our bodies, it is not uncommon to wish we could change things about our appearance or body. While there’s the simple and easy things like getting a new hair color or heading to get a spray tan, cosmetic surgical procedures increased 54 percent in 2021. While cosmetic surgery is seeing more advances in technology, it can be a huge commitment financially and physically. I decided to do some digging and find non-surgical cosmetic procedures that individuals can consider as alternatives to “going under” the knife.

Botox

Botox is a word/procedure we have all likely heard about. Helping to eliminate fine lines and wrinkles, Botox injections can be used in a variety of ways to reduce frown lines, forehead lines, and more. Surprisingly, Botox is also used as a medical treatment to treat excessive sweating, muscle spasticity, as well as chronic migraine prevention. I have had botox for migraines when we could not get the daily headaches under control.

Restylane or Juvederm

Restylane and Juvederm are another two names that have become increasingly popular in recent years. The cosmetic gel fillers help in areas of the face that have lost collagen and fat. These fillers help create contour in areas that might appear hollowed out with aging. Some might consider this an easier way to correct troubling areas instead of a facelift.

Ultherapy

Ultherapy, a non-invasive treatment, uses focused ultrasound to create a thermal effect under our skin. This therapy goes deeper to stimulate production of your body’s own collagen and elastin, for natural-looking results without surgery or downtime. It’s easy to see why ultherapy is gaining traction for those looking for anti-aging options.

Non-surgical Nose Job

As I’ve known several individuals to have rhinoplasty, I’ve seen first-hand how hard recovery from a nose job can be for the person. If you dislike certain areas of your nose, such as the bridge or sides, the dermal fillers are an option to help change the appearance without the recovery of traditional surgery.

Coolsculpting

As a mom and woman, belly fat can be a worry we all face. Belly fat can be one of the hardest fats to eliminate, especially when dealing with the stress of parenting. After having my twins, I’ve experienced the “mom pooch” many wish to minimize. Coolsculpting is an amazing option for those that have tried diets, workouts, and still can’t lose that annoying belly fat. The fat removal procedure helps destroy existing fat cells with effects lasting up to 6 years while keeping coolsculpting side effects minimal.

Those treatments listed above are just a small list of non-surgical cosmetic procedures. When it comes down to it, we all want to be our best and if certain procedures help you gain confidence for yourself, there’s nothing wrong in exploring your options.

Have you tried any of these procedures or been interested in?
