No matter how much I joke it’s not happening, in April I am turning the big 3-0. Being diagnosed with fibromyalgia, migraines, and more, I have relied solely on doctors to make decisions for how I deal with things. I found myself worn out, defeated, and honestly, feeling worse. Finally, I hit the moment of enough was enough and have tried finding ways to take things into my own hands. While it’s no easy task and I still find myself dealing with some things, I have left the decisions up to me.

As my birthday comes closer, Brian and I have made a decision to be accountable for our health and wellness. We both have wanted to eat healthier and lose weight, knowing how much those things alone could make a huge difference.

The amazing thing I love about social media is the ways you can connect with others around you. I’ve previously heard about the keto diet but hadn’t fully looked into it. I will admit, I have a major sweet tooth so the idea of cutting out carbs was just a tad bit scary.
