“Disclosure: I am participating in the Verizon Moms Voices program and have been provided with a wireless device and six months of service in exchange for my honest opinions about the product.”
This week, the #VZWVoices #Mom group received our 2nd device. The excitement started with the hints of what our device is capable of. Yes, that’s right-we had no idea what the device was until it arrived.

After seeing the third and final hint, I felt pretty confident that we were going to be getting the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
Classic note–taking is modernized with the enhanced S Pen™. With just a click of a button, great functions are available through Air Command. You won’t have to switch between screens, memorize commands or look up different menus.
-
S Finder: Search for keywords in items on your phone, such as emails, text messages and files.
-
Scrapbook: Keep track of what catches your eye. Clip images with the S Pen and pin them to a virtual bulletin board.
-
Action Memo™: Take handwritten notes with the S Pen, then compose emails or text messages by turning your handwriting into text.
-
Screen Write: Capture screenshots, add your annotations and save or share them with others.
-
Multi Window: Overlay and resize a floating app over another app, so you could watch a YouTube™ video without leaving the webpage you are reading.
Those that know me best know my phone is like a third arm to me. It’s with me everywhere I go. Without a phone, I feel naked. As a Mom, when my cellular device can make life easier for me, it’s easy to fall in love instantly.
The first thing I had to try out was the camera. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 features a 13 megapixel camera!
I was so excited to see how crisp the camera shot was! Instead of having to take my Nikon camera on a field trip with Aubrey’s class, I was able to rely on the Galaxy Note 3 to capture the trip and catch even more beautiful photos!
Over the next three months, I’ll be using the Galaxy Note 3 and sharing my experiences with all of you.
Have something you want to learn about the Note 3? Maybe there’s an app you want someone’s thoughts on? Let me know and I will be happy to give it a go!

I have the Note 2 and I always joke that it’s almost like having an iPad mini next to my ear. Have you gotten used to just how much bigger it is then the other smartphones out there?
LOL! It is! I was thinking about it earlier today while driving and talking that my hand was all stretched out.
