Now that I am a parent, I find myself cautious to make sure my family stays safe. Even then though, I know that there is risk no matter where we go in life and we can't let it hold us back from getting out there and enjoying it.
Allstate wants YOU to celebrate those Good Life Moments and why taking risks is a good thing to enjoy and be optimistic in life. More good happens in life than bad and it's important to remember those moments. When we face obstacles, it's so important to find the positive or how it helps you grow.
Allstate Good Life wants to provide all of us with tips, perks, and more to help enjoy life. Just because they're an insurance company doesn't mean they have to wait for something bad to happen.
If I was to pick out a moment in our lives that was scary, I was terrified when I found out I was pregnant with the twins. I thought it instantly meant a c-section, complications (which I did face), long NICU stays. I was scared for the lives growing inside me and if I could do it, and I did.
Lucas and Nathan were born at 33.5 weeks. I didn't get to hold them like I had with their big sisters as I was told, they would immediately be taken to the NICU. I delivered them without a c-section, and as soon as I was done having them, I made my way to the NICU to see my baby boys.
It was another scary moment as I saw one little guy with oxygen, both with IVs and monitors galore. I didn't know what to expect. Little did I know my little guys were fighters, I met nurses that I felt were family and in only 2 weeks, my boys were on their way home.
We were blessed to have two preemies that while there were some issues, they've constantly overcame problems. They've amazed me with everything they do and learn. Their big sisters would have it no other way than having two little boys that are constantly wanting to see what they're doing next.
Allstate wants us to cherish these moments. We can all live the good life with just a look in an optimistic perspective.
