Today’s post is all about Traditions.

Well as the weather gets colder, I think about things like Pumpkin Pie, Sugar Cookies, and of course, Apple Cider(have you had Starbucks? OH YUMMY!) It’s a time of decorating the tree, and enjoying time with family.

A tradition I have remembered since I was a little girl was watching all the Christmas specials and movies. “A Charlie Brown Christmas”, “A Christmas Story”, “Home Alone” and of course an all-time favorite and classic, “It’s A Wonderful Life.”

The movie, “It’s A Wonderful Life” reminds us to be thankful for what we have I believe. And of course we all know, “Everytime a bell rings an angel gets it wings!”.

The girls are a little too young right now to understand why we do certain things like traditions but I hope they will grow up enjoying “It’s A Wonderful Life” as much as I have!

  5. We have to watch all those movies at Christmas time. I have to see It’s a Wonderful Life, in black and white, on Christmas Eve. We also watch Garfield’s Christmas, one of my favorites from when I was little.

  6. We love to watch movies together at Christmas, too. It’s too dark and cold to play outside and there is really nothing worth watching on TV – so we get some movies!

  7. I love watching Charlie Brown’s Christmas!!!!

I think I might be alone in saying this, but Starbucks isn’t my favorite place to get coffee… please don’t throw stones at me!! LOL

I made some last weekend that tasted JUST. LIKE. IT. I was in heaven. We live 20 minutes from the closest one, so it was figuring out the recipe or going without!

  12. Can you believe I’ve never seen It’s a Wonderful Life? Ever year I say, this is going to be the year. But it never happens. I must be an oddity.

  13. I forgot about all of the Christmas shows. We always watched them too. All of these blogs are making me think of other traditions we have.

  14. Oo…we should dig up our old Christmas movies and pick one to watch as a family. Thanks for the reminder
