When I had the chance to check out the customizable music boxes, I knew I wanted something that would put a smile on my Mom’s face for Mother’s Day. We’ve always had a bit of an ornery relationship so I couldn’t help but laugh when I found a quote-

“I Smile because you are my Mom, I laugh because there’s nothing you can do about it!”


I selected the rectangle box for this engraving and knowing the love our entire family has for Elvis Presley, I picked out the song “Can’t Help Falling in Love with You” knowing it is bound to be a hit. It brings back memories for all of us and is a sentimental reminder of my Grandpa for my Mom to remember as well. She LOVED it. It is a very durable and big jewelry box. She easily could store most of her jewelry inside. My Mom told me she couldn’t wait to share it with all the people at her work.

  9. Hands down I would pick Louie Armstrong’s “what a wonderful world”! It would be great to engrave a date or special name on it. Oooh you know it would be really cool for a wedding gift engraved with the special date and the couples name!

  19. I think I’d pick “Wonderful World” because I really like that melody and the words behind it… even though it wouldn’t have words. 🙂 Engraving… Not sure… perhaps “Mom, You’ve always shown me the wonders of the world” or something similar.

  27. I have a friend who is celebrating a birthday in a few weeks. If I could pick one of the boxes, it would be in the shape of a heart and it would play “Wonderful World” by Louie Armstrong. I love that song and think she would enjoy it too for it is “our friends” who truly make our world a much better place. I think I would engrave it: Friends Forever or something to that effect. She has always been a good friend to me and each year, I appreciate her more and more for being such a faithful friend and always being there for me. She also has quite a jewelry collection, and I would love to give her something from the heart that she could put it all in. Thank you!
