If it’s not one thing, it’s another. Or what about that saying, “When it rains, it pours”? Well, the past few days have definitely done that.
On Wednesday, I had my regular trigger point injections that I have waited my entire pregnancy to have. Unfortunately I think with the joys of two babies instead of one, I’ve overdone it so they haven’t worked as well as they’ve done in the past.
Last night, Steven was injured at work. Of course, being the stubborn mule that he is, he refused to make a report or go to the hospital. Sure enough in the middle of the night, I’m the one that ended up in the hospital.
I woke up in horrible pain and getting sick. The pain was underneath my ribs and wrapped around into my back. I took it slow and made my way to the hospital. I had a feeling what the signs were (I was a CNA in high school so you get the basics).
Gallbladder. Oh joy. I think it’s safe to say the pain is something I’d gladly trade being in labor for. It hurt.
Since we live in a small town, the goal at this point was to get pain under control. Tomorrow I am supposed to schedule an ultrasound to check the gallbladder and then depending on results, schedule surgery-this week. Can anyone say *gulp*
Now I find myself afraid to eat. If the pain comes back, back to the ER. That is the most annoying thing I ever hear.
So if I disappear, you will probably figure it out. I just want a break.

My wife and mother-in-law have gone through that also. As you know, it is nothing to fool with. If the ultrasound shows it needs to be removed, do it. You will find almost immediate relief.
The timing is never right for this stuff honey. You just have to roll with it.
If you want to talk, I’m around (Tanya will give me a good reference).
Keep the faith!
