When it comes to the Holidays and having children that have school parties and love to give out goodies for their friends, I love finding unique and fun creations for them. Aubrey will be having a Valentine’s Day party with her Girl Scout Troops and I’m looking forward to sending these Valentine’s Day Brownie Kabobs to celebrate!

You will need:
Whatever brownie recipe you choose, make sure you line your pan with foil and grease the foil. Once the brownies are baked and cooled, remove them from the pan by lifting the foil. Remove the foil from the “brick” of brownies and place brownies onto a cutting board.

Using a heart shaped cookie cutter, cut the brownies into hearts. My cutter is about 2.5″ and I can make approximately 18 hearts out of one 9×13 pan of brownies.

While your brownies are cooling, melt 1 cup of chocolate chips in a microwave. I start with 60 seconds at 50% power and continue to check and stir until my chocolate is completely melted.

Dip about 18 marshmallows into chocolate and valentine jimmies or sprinkles. Place on a tray, lined with wax paper and put in the fridge to set.

Meanwhile, wash and dry raspberries (or try strawberries or blackberries) and set aside.

Gather bamboo skewers and cut using wire cutters to a shorter length. Mine were about 5-6″ long.

To assemble, Insert the brownie on the bottom end of the skewer, the chocolate covered marshmallow on the other end of the skewer and top with a raspberry.

Serve immediately. If you can’t serve right away, add the brownie and marshmallow and store covered in the refrigerator. Add the raspberry/fruit just before serving.
