It didn’t work

I wrote about the sacroiliac joint injection I had and that by ten days, we’d know if it would work or not.

It didn’t work.

I have now been fighting this pain attack for 2+ months and it has gotten unbearable. While many people tell me to rest, my response is simple, I have kids, it doesn’t matter if I am in pain, they still need me.

As the pain has progressed to be consistently shooting down my leg and into my back, physical therapy has now questioned if there might be a spinal disc issue. My leg has turned to feeling weak on top of the well, agonizing pain. Today, I had an X-Ray at the end of the day. The doctor is supposed to have results first thing in the morning and then contact me with our next step. I might need to have an MRI of my back to get a more in depth look or see what can not be seen on x-ray.

We’ve done a cortisone injection, physical therapy, sacroiliac joint injection. All of that should have worked if it was the hip. I shouldn’t be experiencing more issues.

When it rains, it pours.
